The National Center on Forensics was an exhibitor at the 2023 Medical Association of the State of Alabama Annual Meeting April 28-29.

Medical Students at the Heersink School of Medicine can now register for STP3003 a special topics course in Forensic Pathology. The course offers a one-week experience in forensic pathology at the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.

The UA CCHS Institute for Rural Health Research’s Annual Rural Health Conference, “Turning the Tide: Preventing, Treating, and Investigating the Opioid Crisis” focused on the opioid crisis and was held on April 12-13, 2023. The National Center on Forensics held conference sessions and speakers to provide valuable educational and training opportunities for our targeted populations.
