Holli Baker serves as Deputy Director of Administrative Services for the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences. Starting her career as a forensic DNA analyst, she built a strong technical foundation in forensic science before transitioning into laboratory quality management and executive leadership. She now provides executive oversight for statewide administrative operations, quality initiatives, strategic planning, procurement, and policy development while supporting Alabama’s accredited forensic laboratory system.

With over twenty-five years of experience in forensic science, Ms. Baker combines extensive expertise in forensic DNA analysis with laboratory quality systems, accreditation, and continuous process improvement to help ensure the delivery of high-quality, scientifically sound forensic services across Alabama. As a qualified forensic laboratory assessor, she has extensive experience evaluating laboratory quality systems against internationally recognized accreditation standards. Her experience spans forensic laboratory operations, quality management, organizational leadership, and the implementation of programs that enhance efficiency, accountability, and public confidence in forensic science.
